The official rules for the Pasaporte 2026 contest and watch-party perks
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. The Pasaporte 2026 contest (the "Contest") is open to legal residents of British Columbia who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters.
Tequila Cocina, 1224 Granville Street, Vancouver, British Columbia V6Z 1M4 (the "Sponsor"). Contact: manager@tequilacocina.ca, (604) 558-3443.
The Contest is open to legal residents of British Columbia, Canada who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Sponsor, and individuals living in the same household as such persons, are not eligible.
The Contest runs from 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time on 1 March 2026 to 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on 11 June 2026 (the "Contest Period"). The Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device.
There are two ways to earn stamps on your digital Pasaporte during the Contest Period:
Collecting ten (10) stamps during the Contest Period earns one (1) entry into the grand prize draw. There is no cap on the number of entries any individual may earn through additional stamps (i.e., 20 stamps = 2 entries, 30 stamps = 3 entries, and so on).
One (1) grand prize will be awarded, consisting of:
Approximate retail value of the prize: CAD $2,400. Tickets are provided as digital passes and are subject to FIFA terms of use, which the winner is responsible for following. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be substituted for cash, except at the Sponsor's sole discretion if a substitute of equal or greater value is necessary.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The grand prize draw will be conducted at Tequila Cocina on or about 15 June 2026 at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The selected entrant will be contacted by phone and email using the contact details provided at sign-up, within seven (7) days of the draw.
Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must (a) correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor, (b) sign and return a declaration and release of liability within seven (7) days, and (c) provide proof of age, identity, and BC residency to the Sponsor's satisfaction. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within seven (7) days, fails the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or fails to comply with these Rules, the entry is forfeit and the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, draw an alternate entrant from the remaining eligible entries.
During Mexico matches shown live at the restaurant during the Contest Period, the following perks apply on the day of the relevant match only, while supplies last, and are subject to the responsible service of alcohol and the discretion of restaurant management:
Monthly mini-prize draws (bottles of tequila, dinner for two, signed jerseys) run as separate promotions; entry mechanics are posted at the restaurant and are subject to these same eligibility, conflict, and general conditions.
Any dispute arising from this Contest is governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
