The rules of the road for visiting our site and booking with us
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply when you visit tequilacocina.ca (the "Site"), book a table or event with us, sign up for our Pasaporte programme, or otherwise interact with Tequila Cocina online. By using the Site you agree to these Terms.
The Site is operated by Tequila Cocina, a restaurant located at 1224 Granville Street, Vancouver, British Columbia. References to "we," "us," and "our" mean Tequila Cocina.
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:
Submitting a reservation request through the Site is a request, not a confirmed booking. A reservation is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation by phone, text, email, or in writing from a member of our team.
Large parties (eight or more), private events, and holiday bookings may require a deposit or credit card hold. Cancellation and no-show terms are communicated at the time of confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a reservation if we believe it is fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate.
Menu items, prices, hours, and event details on the Site are provided for general information and may change without notice. We try to keep everything accurate but do not warrant that any specific dish, drink, or experience will be available at the time of your visit. Final prices and applicable taxes and gratuities are those shown on your in-restaurant bill.
We make reasonable efforts to identify common allergens and to accommodate dietary needs, but our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, and sulphites. Cross-contact is possible. If you have a serious allergy or medical dietary requirement, please tell your server before ordering and consider whether dining with us is appropriate for you.
Promotions such as Pasaporte 2026, Match-Day Watch Parties, "Free Guac when El Tri scores," "Gol Shots," and monthly mini-prize draws are subject to additional rules, including age restrictions (19+) and any specific official rules we publish. The Pasaporte 2026 contest is governed by our Pasaporte Rules, which form part of these Terms by reference. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or end any promotion at any time for any reason, subject to applicable law.
Tequila Cocina serves alcohol under a licence issued by the BC Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch. By law we may refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or who cannot produce valid government-issued photo ID. All offers that include alcohol ("Gol Shots," free drinks, drink-included promotions, etc.) are subject to the responsible service rules in effect at the time and are void where prohibited.
All content on the Site, including the Tequila Cocina name, logo (the agave mark and wordmark), menus, photography, illustrations, and copy, is the property of Tequila Cocina or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to our pages personally and non- commercially. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
The Site contains links to third-party services (for example Google Maps, Formspree, WhatsApp, OpenTable where applicable). We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
If you submit a review, message, photo, or any other content to us (through forms, chat, email, or social media), you grant Tequila Cocina a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display that content for reasonable business purposes (such as customer service, quality improvement, and promotion), with credit where appropriate. You confirm that you have the right to grant this licence.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tequila Cocina and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or any reservation, promotion, or information provided through it. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for personal injury caused by negligence).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Site.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site for at least 30 days. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
